The key ideas about the text KURI
This week I have been reading a text called Kuri by Priscilla Wehi . A key idea in this text is that the Kuri is extinct. An example is none of its kind is left. The bones are found. Also when the pahkiah arrived to NZ the Kuri disappeared. An other example for the Kuri extinct is that when the pahkiah came to NZ they brang puppys and they breeded with the kuri. Also the other dogs ran around, they would case the sheep and the maori people did not like that so they shot them.
Another key idea in this text is that if the owners are hungry the owners will eat the Kuri. My last key idea is that the owners killed the Kuri and used there skin/fur to use a clothing. An example is when the owners are cold they would use the Kuri's fur or skin to keep them warm.
