my see statement
A role model who I inspire is my sister Mona. She is really artistic and is also nice and is funny. She's really hard working around the house and she is brave.
Mona is a GREAT artist who gets her inspiration from herself. She has a great talent by practicing, also she can copy cartoons very well and she can also sketch very well. An example of Mona being a great artist is the way she practices when she is alone or by herself she practices to get better and better. By being a great artist it impacts on her in the future like she can be a art teacher and she can have heaps of money.
Mona is a Funny person to cheer someone up.
Mona is a funny person because she can make someone laugh out loud and she is very cheerful. For example she can make someone happy if they are sad. If someone is sad, annoyed or angry she can cheer them up and they can be happy.
Mona is a nice person because she is hard working around the house. She is nice because she is nice around others. For example if someone is hurt then she can help them and that's nice. This can affect her future by being nice when being social.
Mona is a great artist also a funny person and a nice person. She is a helpful sister and can be mad at times. Also she is the best sister who encourages me when i'm working.
Kuri key ideas.
The key ideas about the text KURI
This week I have been reading a text called Kuri by Priscilla Wehi . A key idea in this text is that the Kuri is extinct. An example is none of its kind is left. The bones are found. Also when the pahkiah arrived to NZ the Kuri disappeared. An other example for the Kuri extinct is that when the pahkiah came to NZ they brang puppys and they breeded with the kuri. Also the other dogs ran around, they would case the sheep and the maori people did not like that so they shot them.
Another key idea in this text is that if the owners are hungry the owners will eat the Kuri. My last key idea is that the owners killed the Kuri and used there skin/fur to use a clothing. An example is when the owners are cold they would use the Kuri's fur or skin to keep them warm.

How were mummies made?
How were the mummies made?
Mummies are a ancient and is mostly made in egypt. Also the mummies are made today. Now I can tell you how mummies are made.
The first step is to get a dead body
The second step is to cut the body open to the chest and to the stomach.
The third step is to take out the intestines, liver, the lungs and the heart. They put the origins in a special jar which is called canopic jar.
The fourth step is to put an hook into the nose and mashup the brain the the blood and the brain parts slide down the nose. They did this so brutal because they didn't think that the brain is important.
The fifth step is to let the body dry up in salt for 70 days.
The sixth step is to wrap the body into a special kind of cloth which is called linen which is made out of flax plant.

Last week the kia manawanui syndicate was learning about a S.O.L.O learning tecnec. Which has who, what, where, why and How.
Team building day
Team building day.
On Thursday the 21st February the kia manawanui syndicate had planned a team building task .To build positive relationships and making new friends .To get ready, all we needed was a toothbrush, flannel, swimming togs, change of mufti clothes, change of school clothes and deodorant.
First we went to Technology at Tamaki College and we had to get split into groups. The groups were cooking, graphics and hard materials. My group was hard materials with Mr Grandy, we were planning 8 ideas to make a wooden creation, my wooden creation is an crocodile car with the top mouth moving as it moves on the ground. I know it may be basic but it's hard to make.
After technology the kia manawanui syndicate went to the Panmure Lagoon Pools. We had fun team building activities that helps us not to be shy around others, contributing as a team, relating to others and making new friends. After Aireen explained what is happening she put us in groups group one. Group two. Group three. Group 4. Group 5 group 6 which is my group. After we got in our groups we cavorted in to the pool 1st to 6th. The instructions were we lock our arms together and go to the end of the pool then we started our first team building task of the week “ THREE, TWO, ONE GO!!!!!” as Miss Aireen shouted, off we flashed. Some of us were swimming some of us were walking and some of us were running, my team was walking some also swimming. I think
my team placed 5th. After the Kia manawanui did our team building tasks we had a FREE SWIM!!!!! “ YAYYY!!!” everyone shouted
“Shush!!” miss said then everyone shut “you can go know” said miss everybody went just like an snow avalanche, water was splashing even the water went out of the pool.
After such a long day of tech and pools the kia manawanui syndicate went back on the bus and went to school. After we relaxed miss said “ go get you’re beds or tents” said miss then everyone left. I got my bed then returned with my sister and aunty, we pumped up my bed up and I said goodbye. After the kia manawanui syndicate had free play miss called us in to do more team building tasks. First we got into a The team building task was we had to use the catchphrase that miss gave to us to make our skit, a name and a chant for our name. also the name has to relate to the name team building and my group name is attitude also my groups catchphrase is gangnam style. After we ate and we played we came back inside to dance, we had to get in groups (in any group) we danced.
After a long day we settled down and watched a movie then went to sleep.
